Day 1: Full-Day Safari in Selous Game Reserve

Begin your adventure in Dar es Salaam and drive through scenic landscapes to Selous Game Reserve, one of Africa’s largest protected areas. Arrive in time for lunch and a boat safari along the Rufiji River, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy an evening game drive before relaxing at your lodge inside the reserve.


Day 2: Full-Day Safari in Selous Game Reserve

Morning Exploration: Head into the wilderness for an early game drive. Search for lions, elephants, zebras, and rare African wild dogs.Midday Relaxation: Return to the lodge for lunch and a restful break during the midday heat. Evening Sundowner: Embark on a late afternoon drive, concluding with drinks on the riverbank under a vibrant African sunset.

Day 3: Journey to Mikumi National Park

Scenic Transit: Depart after breakfast, driving past remote Tanzanian villages and rolling countryside. Sunset Drive: Arrive by late afternoon for a brief introductory game drive across Mikumi's open plains. Camp Arrival: Spot buffaloes and giraffes before settling into your safari camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Hiking Udzungwa Mountains National Park

Rainforest Trek: Take an early drive to Udzungwa, a biodiversity hotspot known as the "Galápagos of Africa."Sanje Waterfalls: Hike to the spectacular 170-meter cascade while spotting primates and endemic birds. Plunge & Picnic: Swim in the refreshing mountain pools and enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Mikumi for the night.

Day 5: Travel to Ruaha National Park

Highland Drive: Journey deeper into Tanzania's remote interior after breakfast, taking in views of the southern highlands. Riverfront Retreat: Reach Ruaha—Tanzania's largest national park—by late afternoon. Unwind: Spend a peaceful evening at your lodge overlooking the Great Ruaha River.

Day 6: Wilderness Immersion in Ruaha

Rugged Landscapes: Dedicate the day to tracking apex predators like lions and leopards, alongside kudu and wild dogs. Riverside Lunch: Pause for a picnic lunch along the riverbanks, surrounded by untamed nature. Campfire Stories: Toast to the final evening of tracking wildlife until dusk, followed by drinks around the campfire.

Day 7: Ruaha to Dar es Salaam

Final Tracking: Take a brief, early morning game drive through the park as you begin your departure. Return Transit: Travel back to Dar es Salaam, stopping for lunch along the highway. Farewell: Arrive in the city by evening, concluding your safari.
