DAY 1 : Nairobi To Lake Nakuru
Depart for the lake Nakuru national park via the great rift valley escarpment. Enjoy awesome sceneries of the dramatic fall of the great rift valley escarpment. A brief stop at Lake Naivasha for an exciting boat safari to view hippos, flamingo, other exotic birds and small game. Later proceed to Lake Nakuru arriving during the late morning. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the lakeshore. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. Afternoon shall be spent on bird and game watching drives around the Lake.
DAY 2 : Lake Nakuru To Masai Mara
A Short game and bird watching drive at the lake Nakuru national park. Proceed to Masai Mara game reserve. There shall be stops at scenic places along the Nakuru Masai Mara route. Afternoon game viewing drives at the Masai Mara.
DAY 3 : Full Day Masai Mara
Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities. We shall explore the Masai Mara reserve on a full day game viewing adventure encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.
DAY 4 : Masai Mara To Nairobi
After breakfast at your lodge/camp, you will checkout and proceed to Nairobi city. On the way, you will enjoy a beautiful view of the flora and fauna including Mt. Longonot an extinct volcano sitting at the bottom of the Great Rift Valley. It last erupted in the 1860s. Its name is derived from the Maasai word Oloonong’ot, meaning “mountains of many spurs” or “steep ridges“.
Several excursion are available in this return trip to the city. More details will be provided during booking by our reservation experts. Drive straight back to the capital and later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International airport for your international return flight.
